Is the lipstick stun gun effective despite its small size?

The lipstick stun gun is rated at 25,000,000 volts and 4.2 milliamps in a 5-inch body. The milliamp rating is the more meaningful spec, and 4.2 is at the lower end of the range for consumer stun guns, which is a trade-off for the compact size. A larger stun gun delivers more. Its advantage is that it fits where bigger ones don't, so you're more likely to have it with you, and someone who doesn't recognize it as a stun gun is less likely to prepare for it.
