The Police Force Blue Line Stun Gun is a compact, rechargeable stun gun with the American flag and the thin blue line on its body, from the Police Force line by Streetwise Security Products. It's rated at 9,100,000 volts and uses Triple Stun Technology with three contact points. It has a built-in LED flashlight, a metal disable pin on a wrist strap, and a wall-plug charger built into the body, so there's no cord to keep track of. A heavy-duty nylon holster with a belt loop is included, and the stun gun itself carries a lifetime warranty.

Police Force Blue Line Stun Gun Features and Specs

  • 9,100,000 volts with Triple Stun Technology: The charge jumps between three points at the top of the unit, making a loud, visible arc when it's fired. The manufacturer notes that actual voltage output is difficult to measure and verify.
  • Metal disable pin and wrist strap: The strap attaches to a pin on the bottom of the unit. If the stun gun is pulled away from you, the pin comes out and the unit won't operate. The pin is metal, not plastic.
  • Three-step activation: The disable pin must be inserted, the safety switch must be in the stun position, and the shock button must be pressed before it fires. That keeps it from discharging by accident while it's carried.
  • LED flashlight: The first position of the safety switch turns the light on without arming the stun function. The LED bulb is rated for up to 100,000 hours.
  • Built-in charger: Slide out the plug and put it in a standard wall outlet. A full charge takes about 6–8 hours, and there are no cords to keep up with.
  • Rubberized armor coating: A non-slip grip that also protects the unit
  • Heavy-duty nylon holster with belt loop included
  • Lifetime warranty on the stun gun: The holster and the wrist-strap lanyard are excluded

Charging and care: Charge it fully and make sure the disable pin is inserted before first use. Slide the safety switch to the first position for the light, or to the second position and press the shock button for the stun function. Don't test fire for more than 3 seconds. Recharge it every 2 months, or sooner if the spark or the light is noticeably weaker.

How strong is 9,100,000 volts?

It's a lower rating than the 50–80 million volts listed on some other stun guns, and voltage is an unloaded figure that doesn't tell you how a stun gun performs on a person. Amperage matters more, and the manufacturer doesn't publish one for this model. If published milliamp output is your priority, the Runt and the BashLite both list theirs, and our stun gun amperage guide explains how to compare. The Blue Line's appeal is the Police Force build, the flag design, and an entry-level price.

Is this actually used by police?

The "Police Force" name refers to the product line from Streetwise Security Products, not a department endorsement or issued equipment. The flag with the blue line is a design that shows support for law enforcement. Often searched as a "police stun gun" or "police taser," it's a civilian contact stun gun. The devices police actually carry are TASER-brand devices that fire electrode darts from a distance, which is a different category of product.

What does the lifetime warranty cover?

The manufacturer covers the stun gun against defects in materials or workmanship. It doesn't cover the holster or the wrist-strap lanyard, damage from accident, misuse, abuse, or moisture, loss of parts, attachments that didn't come with the product, or recharging in a way that doesn't follow the instructions. Opening the unit voids the warranty unless it's done by an authorized dealer. For service, contact the dealer you bought it from for a return authorization. The return must be sent postage prepaid with proof of purchase, and damage or loss in shipping isn't covered.
