Why does my new battery show less than full charge?
Axon confirms this is normal behavior. A new TASER 7 CQ battery may display 80–85% charge when first installed rather than 100%. This is a characteristic of the lithium cell chemistry and the device's charge indicator — it does not indicate a defective or partially used battery. The battery has full capacity and will deliver up to 500 firings from this starting point.
