Blow Darts – How Not to Use a Blowgun
Blowguns have been in use for tens of thousands of years aiding in securing food sources. No doubt they have been an important instrument in furthering the survival of people’s whose lives depended daily on finding their next meal.
While modern blowguns are a blast to target practice with, they aren’t normally used in modern civil society for hunting. Getting your next meal is as easy as opening your refrigerator, going to a fast food place, or stocking up at your closest grocery store. While using a blow dart for food procurement used to be a life furthering advantage, it isn’t a necessity nor a requirement in today’s world.

But here we have another example of irresponsible behavior on the part of some imbecile taking joy out of inflicting pain on others.
Two people walking across Golden Gate Bridge hit by blow darts
"Two pedestrians walking across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco were struck by blow darts, authorities said Saturday as they searched for possible suspects."
"I've never heard of something like this, CHP spokesman Andrew Barclay told the Los Angeles Times. "It seems very random, and it doesn’t appear that either of the victims was targeted for any reason specifically. Neither of them had any arguments."
The fact that the blow dart penetrated two inches into a man’s leg demonstrates how well these weapons could perform. Shooting them into people for sport and sadistic pleasure is just a sad example of today’s behavioral deficiencies.
