Here’s a story about a woman who was sexually assaulted at Delta College in Stockton, California recently. She was able to get away on her own but police are still looking for the assailant.
You can read the whole story HERE.
Sexual assaults on college campuses are much more common than you think. Whenever I see this I often wonder why college-age women especially, or women in general don’t carry some self defense products.
One of the best self defense products women in carry is the Wildfire Key Chain Spray that fits right on your key chain so it is handy in all cases. It has an 18% concentration of oleoresin capsicum instead of the usual 10% that most pepper sprays have so it’s almost twice as potent.
Please check out all of our other Wildfire Sprays. One of them might be just right for you.

Here’s a story about some new military police trainees who are undergoing training that hasn’t been done before. They are finding out what oleoresin capsicum, better known as pepper spray, is like. Believe it or not, until now, Military police had no nonlethal alternative to deadly force. Now they are starting to carry pepper sprays to help them perform their duties.
The course is called Law Enforcement Training Seminar.
You can read the rest of the story HERE
It is actually not surprising that the military would choose pepper spray as their first nonlethal alternative to deadly force. It is close to 90% effective on average and is the most widely used nonlethal self defense product in the world.
We have a wide selection of Mace Pepper Sprays which are the most popular pepper sprays in the marketplace. When people say pepper spray they think Mace.
If you want a stronger concentration of oleoresin capsicum Wildfire Sprays would be your choice.

Here’s a story about burglaries that are occurring in Vermont in broad daylight. Police say they’re doing everything they can to combat the increase in crime, but point out that civilians who are the victims need to be more wary and can help too.
You can read the whole story HERE
“Police noted that the use of field cameras, surveillance equipment, and alarm systems is “very helpful” in solving burglary cases.”
It was also pointed out in the article the most the items that are taken are relatively small. One thing that could help you keep the things that you cherish is Diversion Safes. diversion safes are hollowed out common object you see around the home that contain a safe to hide valuables.
In this video Jennifer shows you how they work. The idea behind them is to hide things”in plain sight.” It is just a proven fact that burglars will spend no more than 10 minutes inside a house, preferably five. If they can’t find what they’re looking for 5 minutes they will leave.

It seems that hardly a day goes by we don’t read or hear about a situation where somebody is attacked and injured by a dog. In this case it was an older woman who got attacked by two dogs. People came to her defense by throwing things at the dogs but they continued their attack until somebody finally got them to stop by hitting them with a stick.
You can read the whole story HERE.
If you’ve ever been attacked by a dog or bitten by a dog you know how absolutely terrifying it can be. It leaves an indelible scar and memory that you just don’t forget.
There are many items that you can use to prevent dog attacks and protect yourself. The Dog Chaser is one. It makes an ultrasonic sound that chases dogs away. It can only be heard by dogs and is not harmful to them just very un- pleasing.
Second is the telescopic stun baton.
Of my recent favorites is the Mace Pepper Gun. The reason I like this better than anything else is because of its long-range. It has enough pepper spray to shoot seven 25 foot shots.

We have always been fans of people who are good at multitasking-doing more than one thing at a time. The same is true of products. A product that can do more than one thing at a time gives you better value. Frequently, it can also save you money.
Nowadays a lot of stun guns have multiple features. To me this makes it more valuable and more useful to the customer.
This Multifunction Stun Gun is a great example. It not only has 4.5 million volts of stopping power, but it has a loud 110 dB alarm, red flashing emergency lights and a super bright LED flashlight. As an added bonus it has the popular disable pin wrist strap.
We have one of the largest selections of Alarm Stun Guns. one of them could be just what you’re looking for.

Some people need a large stun gun to intimidate. Security guards, nightwatchman, bouncers in clubs and law enforcement officers are some good examples of people that need big stun guns. But for most of us, especially women, small stun guns are far preferable. That is why most stun guns are on the small side.
Fact of the matter is that most stun guns are no bigger than 4 inches tall and about 2 1/2 inches wide which is pretty small. But there are some that are even smaller. The Stun Pen is a good example. It is a 1.5 million volt stun device with an LED flashlight on the end. And while it is small enough to carry in a pocket or purse it comes with a holster to carry on your hip for easy access.
Check out our entire selection of Small Stun Guns. One of them may be just right for you.

All self defense products are designed as a nonlethal alternative to the deadly force of a handgun. They can disable an assailant for 5 to 45 minutes depending on which one you use. That time allows you to escape a dangerous situation and get help.
Stun guns are the second most popular self defense product in the world. They are an average 90% effective. A disguised stun gun is better than a regular stun gun because it levels the playing field with an assailant by giving you the advantage of surprise. The assailant may see you talking on a cell phone and thinking that you’re distracted and use that as a way to sneak up on you and assault you.
What he won’t know is that the cell phone is actually a stun gun. The Pretender Stun Gun is a good example of a disguised stun gun. It looks just like a camera cell phone but is a 4.5 million volt stun gun.
We have other Disguised Stun Guns some that look like flashlights, lipstick containers or pens. They all give you an advantage in an assault situation-the element of surprise.

HERE is interesting story about why dogs attack. It gives you some insights into what you can do to prevent an attack in the first place. It has some good insights and is well worth your reading.
What it doesn’t tell you is how to defend yourself in the case of the dog attack. More than 5 million Americans every year are attacked by dogs, with close to 1 million of them hospitalized because of the bites from a dog.
And it seems those numbers are going up. Anecdotally, you read about dog attacks practically every week mostly because they end up being pretty gruesome. Believe me you don’t want to be attacked by a dog.
One of the best ways that you can defend yourself against the dog attack is with the Mace Pepper Gun. It uses a revolutionary “bag in a can” technology with replaceable canisters of a full strength 10% solution of oleoresin capsicum. Or OC, the main ingredient in pepper spray. It has enough OC for seven 25 foot shots which makes it a great self defense tool against dog attacks.

College women face unusually high numbers of threats in their environment. College campuses act as magnets for predators and women are the targets of those predators. That is one of the reasons why this College Woman Safety Kit was put together.
The contents can help keep women safe in their dorm room and when they go out on campus. It contains a door brace which can help keep the dorm room door closed. There is an innocent looking can of hairspray that is really a hidden can safe to hide keys, money or other valuables in plain sight.
The kit contains the popular manual on “Tactical Use of Pepper Sprays.” A simple lipstick tube is really a powerful pepper spray. Then there is a powerful stun gun. One of the most popular overlooked items is a loud personal alarm that can be used to scare an assailant away or draw attention to your situation it should you feel threatened.
If your daughter is headed off how each or if she’s already there this “College Woman Safety” kit is an absolute must.
