In Philadelphia last week burglars broke into a home when the occupants were there, a.k.a. home invasion. When the police responded to a call regarding the matter, they found an inordinate amount of marijuana. It seems the homeowner was dealing drugs to local university students.
You can read the whole story HERE.
More often than not home invasions are much more than just bad guys breaking into a home if there’s usually some other ulterior motive involved. Like drugs.
Be that as it may, there are a few things you can do to prevent a home invasion. The first is to always use your peephole to make sure you know who is at your front door before you let them in.
If the bad guys do happen to get in, of the best things you can do to get them out (assuming they are unarmed) is to give them a shot in the face with one of the great Mace Pepper Sprays. There is a good variety of sizes and prices to choose from.

Here’s a story about a woman who was sexually assaulted at Delta College in Stockton, California recently. She was able to get away on her own but police are still looking for the assailant.
You can read the whole story HERE.
Sexual assaults on college campuses are much more common than you think. Whenever I see this I often wonder why college-age women especially, or women in general don’t carry some self defense products.
One of the best self defense products women in carry is the Wildfire Key Chain Spray that fits right on your key chain so it is handy in all cases. It has an 18% concentration of oleoresin capsicum instead of the usual 10% that most pepper sprays have so it’s almost twice as potent.
Please check out all of our other Wildfire Sprays. One of them might be just right for you.

Finally, finally someone is doing this. The state of Delaware is in the process of creating a separate category for the crime of home invasion. Now if we can just get the rest of the country to do it we’d be in business. Up until now the crime of home invasion has been categorized as a home burglary for both reporting purposes and for penalty purposes.
The penalties under this bill will be much more severe. Thank goodness. Finally!

Of course best thing is to prevent a home invader from getting in the first place. That’s where the Door Stop Alarm can be a huge help.
But for crying out loud folks if you have a peephole in your front door always use it. See who is there before you open the door. If you don’t have a peephole it is worth it to get one because trust me, you do not want to be the victim of a home invasion.
It’s a bad guys to get in make sure you have some self defense products scattered around the house to help defend yourself. One of the best is Mace Pepper Gel it can disable an assailant in a heartbeat.

Right here in our own community last week a woman was walking to her car in a darkened parking lot of a shopping mall. She was approached by a man who was a stranger to her asking for directions. The hair on the back of her neck stood up. Fortunately she had some pepper spray in her purse.
Without hesitation she took it out, turned around and sprayed a warning spray over the man’s head with a command to back off. The man hesitated for a second and took off.
It is yet another example of how a self defense product can be used effectively to ward off a potential assault.
Our Wildfire Defensive Sprays come in a wide variety of sizes and disbursement methods.
Mace Triple Action Spray comes in five styles to choose from. The triple action is a dose of OC pepper spray, CN tear gas and UV marking dye.
The combination gives you triple protection. UV dye marks an assailant for possible identification later. CN tear gas causes tearing of the eyes and an intense burning sensation to the face and pepper spray causes the eyes to close with uncontrollable coughing and choking.

Statistics show that women are the targets of violence in nine out of every 10 cases that occur. College women think they’re safe. Nothing could be further from the truth. Take 18 to 20-year-old males and mix with alcohol or drugs and add good looking college coeds and you have a recipe for assaults or rapes.
The College Woman Safety Kit was designed to keep your daughter safe on campus and her dorm room. It contains a door brace to keep her college room door closed and a hidden diversion safe in the form of a can of hairspray where she can actually hide jewelry or money.
It also contains a loud personal alarm that can be attached to the end of her keychain and a powerful pink pretender stun gun that is 4.5 million volts of power and protection. Also included is a lipstick pepper spray-a powerful pepper spray that looks just like a lipstick dispenser. The last item is a book on the “tactical use of pepper sprays” which teaches you how to use your self defense spray effectively.
This package will keep your daughter safe while she is in college and save you money over purchasing each item separately.
