Like all self defense products, stun devices, a.k.a. the stun guns, are meant to disable an assailant for short period of time, allowing you the opportunity to escape a dangerous situation and get help. Stun devices disable an assailant by causing his muscles to work very rapidly in a short period of time similar to running a marathon.
This overworking of the body depletes it of all blood sugars that are needed for energy so the assailant has no energy left. The more powerful the stun device the quicker that it can work. The “Runt” stun gun and the “Hot Shot” are both very powerful at 4.5 million volts.
The two that I like the best are the “Pretender” stun gun and the “Immobilizer”. The reason I like them is because they are both disguised as cell phone stun guns which gives you the added advantage of surprise an attack.
The Pretender Stun Gun is 4.5 million volts and has two levels of safety built-in.
The Immobilizer Stun Gun is 5 million volts one of our most powerful stun guns.

PRETENDER Stun Gun-CLICK for more Details
By popular request we’re going to do a couple of blog postings to bring you up-to-date on which self defense products that are our most popular.
Number three is the Pretender Stun Gun. It looks just like a camera cell phone but is a powerful 4.5 million volt stun gun. It has a built-in 12 LED flashlight and has two levels of safety built-in to prevent accidental discharge. It also has a lifetime warranty which gives you an idea of the quality of the product to begin with.
Coming in at number four is the Blowgun. This may surprise a lot of people but a blowgun is a fun way to play. I think it’s more fun than darts and more challenging.
Blowguns have been around for over 40,000 years as one of the first weapons ever used. They are crude in a way but very accurate. Each of our blowguns comes with target darts, a mouthpiece, muzzle guard, foam grip and a dart quiver. They can shoot target darts, stun darts and paintballs. The longer the blowgun the faster and further it will go. They come in sizes of 18, 24, 36, 48 and 60 inch lengths.
The next most popular item that we sell is a package of 100 target darts that goes with the blowgun. They are sharpened wire darts with a .40 caliber end.
We will talk about the rest of the list in the coming days but in the meantime, check out our Top 10 Best-Selling Products

 Mace Pepper Gel
Here is a story about a man and his family who were victims of a home invasion. He got attacked by the home invaders and got hit in his forehead from a machete, of all things. You can watch the whole story HEREwith the short YouTube video.
There are two morals to the story. First, if at all possible, do not let the home invasions happen. And second if it does happen it is almost always a bad outcome from the violence involved.
The old expression “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” is certainly applicable here.
The best way to prevent a home invasion in the first place is to always use your peephole in your front door. Find out who is there before you reflexively open your front door (like I do). It is a bad habit to get into. Once a home invader has an inch of a door opening he will force his way in. And trust me in 99% of the cases of a home invasion there is violence involved. You don’t want to be part of that.
If the home invaders do get in, make sure that you have some self defense products around the house in more than one location. In my opinion the best one to have around the house is Mace pepper gel. Then I would recommend having a stun gun. One of the smallest and most effective stun guns is the hot shot stun gun. That way if the bad guys do get in, at least you have a chance of defending yourself.

College women face unusually high numbers of threats in their environment. College campuses act as magnets for predators and women are the targets of those predators. That is one of the reasons why this College Woman Safety Kit was put together.
The contents can help keep women safe in their dorm room and when they go out on campus. It contains a door brace which can help keep the dorm room door closed. There is an innocent looking can of hairspray that is really a hidden can safe to hide keys, money or other valuables in plain sight.
The kit contains the popular manual on “Tactical Use of Pepper Sprays.” A simple lipstick tube is really a powerful pepper spray. Then there is a powerful stun gun. One of the most popular overlooked items is a loud personal alarm that can be used to scare an assailant away or draw attention to your situation it should you feel threatened.
If your daughter is headed off how each or if she’s already there this “College Woman Safety” kit is an absolute must.

Pink Pretender Stun Gun Not all self defense products look like you think they may look. The most popular ones are ones that are disguised as other products. The whole idea is to give you a tactical advantage in an assault situation and turn the tables on the assailant by using a disguised product. He has no idea he’s about to be put down by a stun gun that looks like a cell phone or flashlight or a pepper spray that looks like a lipstick dispenser.
One of the most popular is the Pretender Stun Gun. The reason it is called the “Pretender” is because it only pretends to be a camera cell phone. It is a powerful 4.5 million volt stun gun that can put an assailant down with a 3 to 5 second application to his body.
Sometimes the flying sparks from the two probes on the and or the intimidating sound that a stun gun makes once it is charged up, is enough to scare an assailant away. If not, he will suffer the consequences and be disabled for 5 to 10 minutes allowing you time to seek help.
Please look at all of our other Cell Phone Stun Guns. One of them may be perfect for you.

Panic Alarm There are several categories of self defense products on the market today so consumers may get a little bit confused when it comes to time to getting one. Here’s some information about all of them so you might be able to decide is which one is best for you.
Pepper sprays are very inexpensive and can disable an assailant for up to 45 minutes. The main issue with them is that most times that you would use it you are outdoors and wind can carry a spray off target. A pepper gel holds up much better and outdoor conditions.
Stun guns are hand held devices that can disable an assailant for up to 10 minutes. It has to be applied to the assailant for it to work. Many people don’t like that but when your life is on the line, a stun gun is the answer. Prices start at $30-$40.00.
Tasers are a form of a stun device that are nearly 100% effective. They are more expensive for sure but what is your life worth? So if you have the money, tasers are the most effective self defense item.
Personal Alarms are on average the cheapest of all self defense products. They will not disable an assailant. But if you’re in a parking lot on a dark night and in a dangerous situation a personal alarm can make a loud enough noise to scare the assailant away and or bring attention to your situation.
When you get right down to it, we always recommend that you carry at least two self defense products.
We have a large selection of Self Defense Items. One of them may be perfect for you

Over the course of years in the business I have heard several comments from people about having to apply the stun gun to an assailant-they don’t like it. And I can understand that. But when your life is on the line and an assailant has an arm around your neck and is choking you, a stun gun can be your best friend by saving your life.
Stun batons offer a great alternative.
The Mini Nightstick is a good example of powerful stun baton. It is 10 inches long and is 4,000,000 volts-more than enough to get anybody’s attention. It has a lifetime warranty and is fully rechargeable with a recharging cord that’s included.
It has two levels of safety built-in for your protection. A 3 to 5 second application of a stun gun to an assailant will put him out of action for 5 to 10 minutes allowing you time to get away and seek help.
Please look at all of our other Stun Batons. One of them may be perfect for you.

Two news clippings recently caught my eye about dog bites and dog attacks. The first one was about a jogger who got attacked by an aggressive dog. You can read about it in more detail RIGHT HERE
The second article was a commentary about how dog bites have become much more common in Texas. The same can probably be said of any state in the country. You can read that article HERE.
You probably are ready know how big a problem dog bites and dog attacks are. Nearly 1,000,000 people every year get hospitalized by dog bites. It has been estimated at close to 5 million people are attacked by dog. Unfortunately , many of those dog attacks are against children.
The big question for many is what can you do about it is? There are several self defense products on the market today that will work. One is the dog chaser. It is very effective against many kinds dogs.
Many of my customers are telling me the the Telescopic Stun Baton works at scaring away dogs because of the flying sparks and intimidating sounds. If that isn’t enough, the 800,000 volts to the body of the dog will get them to back off. It is one effective way to protect yourself from dog attacks and dog bites.

Stun guns are among the most popular self defense weapons today. Not only are they easily available, it is also easy to hide them in your purse or handbag at all times. All of us are aware that it is extremely risky to walk alone in dimly lit areas at night. However, there are times when it becomes avoidable. In such scenarios, it is extremely useful to have these little self defense gadgets on hand to help you in case of any mishaps.
Stun guns conduct electricity and pass electric impulses through the body of the person when used on them. This momentarily electrocutes them and throws them off guard. This helps the victim escape from the clutches of the attacker.
It is important to find out if the local laws of your state permit the use of stun guns for self defense. Though they are extremely useful in life-threatening situations, most of the states do not approve of their usage fearing the impact it may have on the person on whom it has been used. If you live in a state that approves the usage of these guns, make sure you buy the one that you can carry along at all times.
