Here’s a story about a group of students in Minnesota who are trying to get legislators to pass tougher laws against bullying. Their point is that they hear legislators talking about it but don’t do anything (what a shock) and it’s really a student issue so they wanted to get their voice out there.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock in a cave somewhere, bullying has become a huge issue in schools.
You can read the rest of the story HERE
The story goes on to say “Every day, more than 160,000 kids miss school fearing an attack or intimidation by other students, according to the PACER Center.”
I have always maintained that the best way that you can defend yourself against bullying is by knowing some basic self-defense techniques. We have some of the best Self Defense Training DVDs in the marketplace. What a great way for young students to learn the basics of self-defense in the comfort of their own home with their parents.

Here’s a story about burglaries that are occurring in Vermont in broad daylight. Police say they’re doing everything they can to combat the increase in crime, but point out that civilians who are the victims need to be more wary and can help too.
You can read the whole story HERE
“Police noted that the use of field cameras, surveillance equipment, and alarm systems is “very helpful” in solving burglary cases.”
It was also pointed out in the article the most the items that are taken are relatively small. One thing that could help you keep the things that you cherish is Diversion Safes. diversion safes are hollowed out common object you see around the home that contain a safe to hide valuables.
In this video Jennifer shows you how they work. The idea behind them is to hide things”in plain sight.” It is just a proven fact that burglars will spend no more than 10 minutes inside a house, preferably five. If they can’t find what they’re looking for 5 minutes they will leave.

I don’t know too many people who aren’t interested in saving money when they want to buy products. If you are at all interested in your own personal safety, personal security and personal self-defense, then this Stun Gun/Pepper Spray Package is for you.
It contains a popular lipstick stun gun, a wildfire half ounce pink pepper spray and the very informative booklet on the tactical use of pepper spray at a special 15% savings.
The lipstick stun gun is 950,000 volts and is one of the smallest stun guns you can get. Wildfire pepper spray is an 18% solution of oleoresin capsicum rather than the normal 10%. Most pepper sprays. And a handbook on pepper sprays is one of the best ever written.
This package is primarily for women (unless you know some men who use lipstick). Women are the targets of violence in nine out of ten cases. This package will really provide some safety for the women in your life and save you some money at the same time.

This is one of the more unusual burglaries that I’ve read about. Apparently a product called Remy Indian hair is a hot commodity on eBay or in the black market. “Indian Remy hair lasts longer, looks a lot better, and it’s more durable,” so says the article. The rest of the story is available for you to read HERE.
If you are a store owner, obviously you want to have some protection for your store. A burglar alarm system is one way to go. But more and more store owners are turning to surveillance cameras or even better yet hidden cameras. Hidden cameras have a lot more flexibility than a surveillance camera. A lot of businesses are actually turning to both surveillance camera for outside the store and a hidden camera for inside the store. That way the protection is doubled.
The Exit Sign Hidden Camera offers excellent interior protection of a small store because no one will suspect they are being recorded.

Here’s a true story about a city in Australia, Victoria, which is about ready to get a new tool for their police officers. They have been studying tasers for over a year and finally decided that it’s about time to make a commitment to the less than lethal tool.
You can read the rest of the story HERE.
Tasers are used by over 12,000 law enforcement agencies throughout the United States and in at least eight foreign countries. They shoot out two electrified probes that are low voltage but high wattage that disable an assailant with amazing effectiveness. Their tasers “are fitted with a red beam that not only aids aim but sends a warning to the target. They are also equipped with a video which films all incidents.”
The Taser C 2 was designed specifically for women. Of course men can use it as well. It is the civilian version of the law enforcement tool. The probes from the C2 go 15 feet. They have lasers as well.
Check out all of our other Tasers to see if one of them will work for you

Here’s another true story about how a burglar alarm help catch the bad guys. The alarm was in a building where a business was located. When police arrived, they saw a broken window and investigated. They discovered that the building was broken into. They found a potential suspect not far away who was bleeding. They put two and two together and got their man.
You can read the whole story HERE.
The home Wireless Alarm System can work in a business too. Once it is set up and a door or window is broken into a loud 105 dB alarm will sound and up to five preset numbers will be called. If the motion detector detects motion, the alarm will sound as well.
The door/window sensor can transmit wirelessly up to 250 feet. The motion detector can work up to 25 feet covering most normal rooms. Up to 14 different accessories are available to broaden the range of protection.

It seems that hardly a day goes by we don’t read or hear about a situation where somebody is attacked and injured by a dog. In this case it was an older woman who got attacked by two dogs. People came to her defense by throwing things at the dogs but they continued their attack until somebody finally got them to stop by hitting them with a stick.
You can read the whole story HERE.
If you’ve ever been attacked by a dog or bitten by a dog you know how absolutely terrifying it can be. It leaves an indelible scar and memory that you just don’t forget.
There are many items that you can use to prevent dog attacks and protect yourself. The Dog Chaser is one. It makes an ultrasonic sound that chases dogs away. It can only be heard by dogs and is not harmful to them just very un- pleasing.
Second is the telescopic stun baton.
Of my recent favorites is the Mace Pepper Gun. The reason I like this better than anything else is because of its long-range. It has enough pepper spray to shoot seven 25 foot shots.

We have always been fans of people who are good at multitasking-doing more than one thing at a time. The same is true of products. A product that can do more than one thing at a time gives you better value. Frequently, it can also save you money.
Nowadays a lot of stun guns have multiple features. To me this makes it more valuable and more useful to the customer.
This Multifunction Stun Gun is a great example. It not only has 4.5 million volts of stopping power, but it has a loud 110 dB alarm, red flashing emergency lights and a super bright LED flashlight. As an added bonus it has the popular disable pin wrist strap.
We have one of the largest selections of Alarm Stun Guns. one of them could be just what you’re looking for.

Back in the 1930′s when stun guns were invented, originally as cattle prods, they needed batteries-and lots of them. That’s where they got their power from. Nearly a century later, almost all stun devices are rechargeable. They are much more practical because they don’t need batteries and save you money.
The Mini Stun Gun aka “the Blackout” by Streetwise is a 5,000,000 volt stun device that not only is one of the most powerful in the world but also one of the smallest. It doesn’t need batteries because it’s rechargeable. This enables manufacturers like Streetwise and Stun Master and others to make smaller and smaller stun devices because there is no compartment needed to hold the batteries. Make sense?
Check out all of our Rechargeable Stun Guns. You will find one that suits your needs.
Some cities and states have restrictions on stun devices so check for legality in your area first before you buy one.

Some people need a large stun gun to intimidate. Security guards, nightwatchman, bouncers in clubs and law enforcement officers are some good examples of people that need big stun guns. But for most of us, especially women, small stun guns are far preferable. That is why most stun guns are on the small side.
Fact of the matter is that most stun guns are no bigger than 4 inches tall and about 2 1/2 inches wide which is pretty small. But there are some that are even smaller. The Stun Pen is a good example. It is a 1.5 million volt stun device with an LED flashlight on the end. And while it is small enough to carry in a pocket or purse it comes with a holster to carry on your hip for easy access.
Check out our entire selection of Small Stun Guns. One of them may be just right for you.
