Crime happens anywhere
Woke up this morning to a phone call. My truck had the driver’s side window smashed out and my $700 GPS was stolen.
What’s worse is that my wife has my truck in Myrtle Beach where she, the kids, and her sister are taking a weekend vacation. It happened in the hotel parking lot and nobody heard or seen a thing. The police took the report and the maintenance guy at the hotel taped a plastic garbage bag over the window.
At least everyone was safe. They are coming straight home instead of staying and swimming for a little bit. The kids were ecstatic about seeing a “real live” police officer. Too bad our six year olds had to experience crime that young.
(The garbage bag had to be removed because it was black and Jenn couldn’t see out of it.)
