Real Estate Self Defense
Real estate agents often are alone with strangers. They show people empty houses with no one else around except for the potential buyer. The potential buyer is quite often unknown and a complete stranger. Thinking about your own safety and how you would get out of a bad situation should be part of your everyday checklist.
We recommend at a minimum a loud personal alarm and a pepper spray for anyone who shows houses or is alone with someone as part of their job. The loud personal alarm will bring attention to you and a blast of pepper spray to the face of an attacker will allow you to get away.
